Ella Rose Strachan

She's here.

Ella Rose Strachan--
4 pounds, 15 ounces,
18 inches long,
5 weeks early,
The sweetest thing I've ever laid eyes on.

Bethany went into labor Wednesday morning at 1:30am. After a rather quick trip to the hospital, she was admitted. About seven hours later, little Ella Rose was born without complication. Though five weeks early, she's quite healthy. We are overwhelmed with joy and grateful to God for the safe delivery, the health of the baby, and the privilege of raising this child.

Pictures to follow; blogging may be a bit spotty (I'm guessing you understand).

Ella's Maine grandparents are thrilled and happy beyond words. What a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl. Praise be to God for the safe delivery of this little one. P.S. I guess we picked the wrong week to visit you folks....although it was wonderful...now we just want to come back and see ALL of you again.
Love, Mom

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter! When your wonderful mother-in-law called and told us that Bethany was in labor, we were so excited! May the Lord richly bless your home as you believe and live out the gospel to your girls. (And by the way, way to make a decision on the name. :) )

What a blessing! I raised 3 girls and it was great. My only advice is that it goes by really fast, so pay attention. Even walking the floor with them in the middle of the night is something you will long for when they are gone.
